Weirdness of the Week

World's Strongest Boy, Ten

This American documentary appears to be about an extraordinary kid, but it's really about a boy robbed of his childhood by abusive adults. Even if the claims of steroid use are untrue, the unnatural physique of Richard Sandrak will make you wonder. His father, a fitness fanatic, made him do 2000 push-ups a day, forced him to live on a diet of liquid supplements and denied him toys.

Dubbed "Little Hercules", Richard made a lot of dough for his dad, but listen to him talk and you know this kid never spent time with children his own age. It's a sad tale, despite little Richard's amazing "eight-pack".
