Just because I am almost 27, and I am not a famous rockstar or painter or actress, but I could die of a heroin o.d., you never know. And because I miss Brad and Sublime and Eric wrote 'eff you' on my autograph.

I don't pretend to know anything about Sublime, but I do think it is great that you got an autograph and actually saw them, I assume again. Here's a site I looked at to get an idea of what you were talking about: http://www.skunk.com/sublime/
See, gotta keep up whit my girls, ya know what I mean?
O dear mom, I can't express to you all that Sublime has meant to me. Aside from wicked awesome music, Brad's lyrics, the beer references and all the memories I have influenced just by listening to them, whoa! It is a flashback I just want to relive over and over.
The point was though, that in 98, the lead singer, Brad, who might have been one of the coolest emeffers (sorry mom) EVER!, died of a heroin overdose at the age of 27. Following a theme by Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, Jean Michel Basquiat and others...
Next April I am going to be 27, so I am gonna have to quit the junk.
Yeah, when people you relate to die, it's kind of hard to get over that idea you might go at the age they went. I guess when I didn't die at the age my dad did, I started losing that fear. But, I use to make jokes about getting pregnant around age 50. Now, I sometimes worry about that coming to fruition.
